Our Story
The Birth of an Idea
greenable originated from applied research at the Chair of Manufacturing Technology and Operations Management at RPTU Kaiserslautern. In late autumn of 2020, the idea became more concrete, and the development of an intuitive solution to calculate the Product Carbon Footprint was born, with the long-term goal of making product-level emission management simple. greenable GmbH was officially founded in 2022 by Patrick, Lucas, Viktor, and Alexander.
From Vision to Reality
From the very beginning, the vision was clear: we create transparency across industries and supply chains. After completing the EXIST Founder Scholarship (funded by BMWK), we successfully closed a pre-seed funding round with support from the Investment and Economic Development Bank of Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB) and business angels.
