Why greenable exists?
Product-related sustainability requirements are becoming increasingly specific for manufacturing companies. Customers are demanding product carbon footprints, regulatory requirements are increasing the need for packaging and product data, and the Digital Product Passport will make structured information even more important in the future.
Much of the necessary data already exists within the company. However, it is scattered across ERP systems, Excel files, supplier documents, product structures, and individual departments.
greenable was developed to consolidate this data, model it in a traceable way, and make it usable for a variety of requirements—from PCF and LCA to Scope 3, PPWR, and the Digital Product Passport.
Born from Research and Industry
greenable emerged from application-oriented research at RPTU Kaiserslautern. Since our founding in 2022, we have been continuing to develop our platform in collaboration with customers, partners, and research institutions.
Our goal: to make product-related sustainability data structured, traceable, and reusable for manufacturing companies.
What We’re Working On
The focus is on a common data model for product, material, process, supplier, and packaging data. Building on this, companies can address a variety of requirements, ranging from product carbon footprints and LCA to Scope 3 and PPWR, as well as Digital Product Passports and data exchange.
