The PCF comprises the total greenhouse gas emissions caused by a product in the various phases of its life cycle. We calculate the product carbon footprint according to the cradle-to-gate approach.
The software is certified standards-compliant according to DIN EN ISO 14067 and GHG protocol. The calculation of transport emissions is based on the GLEC framework.
Yes, to communicate your carbon footprint, you can either download a concise one-page summary report or a detailed final report at the click of a button.
At greenable, we work with many high-quality databases to calculate your PCF as accurately as possible. These include ecoinvent, the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, DEFRA and the Federal Environment Agency.
Yes, you can use your own values, secondary data from our databases or values from your suppliers in our tool. Evidence from suppliers can also be uploaded.
